Our pups at their new homes:

1/2/12

Hi Anita!

My how the time has flown with Bailey!  She's a sweet, loving, and beautiful doggie. She's in excellent health and a big hit when she gets her check-ups at the vet. She loves going for walks, playing tug of war, and playing "catch" with the ball.  She is also an excellent traveler!  We've taken her on vacation to Phoenix, and several times to Southern California, and she is a "star" wherever we stay.  She has a playmate named Banks (also an english-cream golden) who we watch frequently, and they are so fun to watch race around and wrestle.  In short, she is an absolute joy, and we adore her!

Wishing you and your family a good 2012!

Hi Anita,

After much 'posing' sessions and 'photo-shoots' we finally have a pic of Henry for you.

As I have mentioned, Henry is beautiful, strong, muscular, playful, obedient etc. He sleeps right beside our bed at night, such a loving boy (we wish we had brought home a sibling of his as well :)

I hope all is well with you/family/dogs..

 Jessica

Hi Anita,

Attached are a few pictures of Summit from the 4th of July weekend at Lake Tahoe.  Summit is a very active 70lb boy.  He loves to go on hikes in the mountains and just learned to swim (or finally realized that he could swim) this past weekend!

We hope you and your family are doing well!

Hello Anita,

I have meant to touch base with you for some time and had hoped to have had a current photo of Henry to share with you by now. It is so difficult to capture his handsome face etc. on camera.  Anyhow, I just wanted you to know I will continue to try for a 1-year pic for you.

He is 80 lbs, very solid and muscular like Kalvin :) He likes to press up against us when greeting us and moves around-and-around our legs - we call that 'hugging' us :) He loves to sniff and play in the woods on our property; loves to play ball and brings it back for a 'cookie'; and walks very well on leash.

 Such a beautiful boy,

AKC title 'Henry the Royal Boy'

 Thank you again,

Jessica

Hi Anita!

Attached are some photos of Wit at around six months old, as promised.  He is such a joy and so much fun, and we all get lots of love around here!  Hope you and your family are well ... would love for you to stop by sometime for a visit and see your grandson.  Take good care!

Anita,

Happy New Year and we hope you and your family are doing well!

Below is a link to a Picasa Album we created with recent pics of Summit from the last two weeks of December.  We decided to buy him some red booties after noticing his favorite new activity is running around in the snow (Shelby doesn't like ice build-up within the webbing of her feet, so Jenna's parents suggested booties for Summit and we got suckered into a green coat for him as well).

We'll continue to stay in touch and Summit has been an amazing addition to our family.

Hi Anita,

I hope you and your family are well!  Attached are some pictures of Summit.  He is a growing boy, full of energy and love.  We just completed the first round of puppy school and will start the next age group soon (and by the way, he has the BEST demeanor of all dogs).  We go on daily walks, during which we are stopped often and Summit is given many many compliments!

The attached pictures are from the past month.  You will notice in two of the pictures that Summit has taken to sleeping on his back - it is his favorite sleeping position and quite comical....he obviously takes after his father!

Happy Halloween and Go Giants!!!

Julia has a costume, I will send you a picture. She is a doll. Soo pretty, at times I see both parents in her. Her legs are getting longer, if she grows into her ears, I'm in trouble.  LOL

Take Care and give Aspen and Kalvin a hug from us,
Leigh

We have thought of you often as we have welcomed Henri into our home and family these past few weeks. He is such a happy, mellow boy and has been growing a lot - his paws are huge - we hope he grows up to be like his dad :) He and Kittie, have been sleeping, playing and going on walks together - they love each other :) .

 Regards, Jessica

Miss Julia is doing very well. She and Tebow are inseparable. She can hold her own, very independent. But I like that.
She loves to sleep on the tile floor in the bathroom. Eating very well. Had her second shots, the weather is finally cooling down, can't wait to be outside more with her. We have officially turned her into a Florida Gator Girl. Will send pics soon.

Hi Anita!

So sorry we have been slow in getting some pics to you.  We will try to do better!  We are so in love with this puppy.  He has yet to whine - very independent and sure of himself.  We credit this to his early development with his mom and dad, and being socialized early.  He is a DUDE!!!!!  These pictures were taken the week after he came home - on vacation in Oceanside.  We were very careful in keeping him secluded from parks and other puppies, but it was very difficult to keep him from people who wanted to love him!  Everywhere we went, we were virtually mobbed - he is so darned cute it's unbelievable.  He is for the most part potty trained (although there are a few accidents) and he has socialized well with the other dogs in the home.  In fact, the Border Collie has become a real mother to him - playing with him and teaching him to be a good boy.  If we are ever in Reedley, we would like to stop by and let him see his mom and dad... but I promise we will call first.  Hope the Dekker family is well - I'm sure you are lonely with all the puppies gone!!!!  Don't worry a bit about Wit - he is very happy and so are we!!!

Take care,

Marilyn & Scott

Hi Anita,

Apologies for not sending pictures or an update on Summit until now - he has definitely kept us busy!
We are absolutely in love with Summit!  He is doing wonderful and has adjusted quite well to life in Mt. View.  Summit is starting to learn to sit, come, and leave it.   He has also already made his first trip to Tahoe the weekend of August 14th.  Although confined primarily to the cabin, he spent some quality time in the yards and some nervous time meeting Shelby.  Summit loves running around the front yard with his toys and meeting all the neighbors that stop by.  We cannot wait to get him out more, both here and in Tahoe.

Attached are a few pictures from the past couple weeks. You may notice that Summit has already almost doubled in size!

We will send additional pictures in a few months!

Hi Anita!

I took Bailey to our vet for her second set of shots.  Our vet was so excited as Bailey was her first English Cream Golden at her practice.  I took in the folder you gave us with all of Bailey's info and she was very impressed at the care and attention you paid to the whole litter.  Unfortunately she's seen so many pure bred goldens and labs where the breeder was not up to speed in providing proper preventative care and the new owner's are blindsided when they bring the puppy in for their first visit.  So kudos to you, your family, and all the hard work that went into establishing a healthy puppy:)  She didn't wince when she got her shot or when they took her temperature.  They trimmed a teeny bit of her nails, combed for fleas (none) and were happy with her weight gain.  Oh, and the car ride to and from the vet went smoothly as well.

She is such a joy, and so very smart!  She retrieves anything I throw and I must say, the housebreaking has been pretty easy. She slept in our room since the first night and if she whines it's to go outside to do her business.  We spend most of our morning (6:30 to 10) in our backyard.  She explores, plays catch, and follows me around while I do my chores.  I can't wait for the "lockdown" to end and show her what's out the FRONT door!  When it gets too hot for her she plants herself right next to one of the a.c. vents on the floor of our living room, how smart is that?

Please know that if you plan to run errands in Visalia you are welcome to come by and check out Bailey's new home.  We sure do love her!

Anita hi,
Hero did great!!! He was amazing. He came home and first thing he did was pee (good boy!)
The kids are in LOVE and are doing everything to make him feel at home. He now has a comfy bed another toy and a bowl for food and water and of course some dog treats. He actually ate and did his business after a short walk. I will send some pictures later. I hope Aspyn is ok. We felt so bad driving away today with her last baby. Thank you so much for everything. We will love him very much...we already do.
BTY no throwing up in the car. He is a super dog.

warmly
Pam

Hi Anita,

I just wanted to let you know that Henri was a very good traveler yesterday :) We gave him lots of water and walked him outside throughout the day. He did very well on the plane and was content to either be in his carrier at my feet or in the carrier on my lap (with top flap open for more air/attention)

He is such a wonderful boy - we are so pleased - thank you for all your hard work and love and care :)

We will be sure to send photos of 6 mo/12 mo etc. and hope to see pics of the other siblings as well :)
